This is my first post and hopefully is not the last. Patrick and I are doing well in New Orleans with our dog, Lilly, and our crazy cat, Roc. I work for a commercial construction company in Laplace, Aegis Construction, as a Project Manager. Patrick also works for the same company as an Assistant Superintendent. Septemeber 15 of this year makes 4 years of us together and yes we will one day get married. :)
We survived without problems, our first evacuation out of NOLA due to Gustav and ironically went north of Baton Rouge. Our electric came on Friday 9/5 and we had Baton Rouge friends staying with us over the weekend since they were without electric. I wish everyone well and please stay tuned for more posts.
